“Enhanced Recovery…..Better Lives”

As a program of the Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee for the past seven years, NARA has been recognized as a model of expertise in peer-to-peer recovery support and education. Each year we provide free case management and substance abuse services to hundreds of low income individuals with multiple barriers to treatment services.

What is NARA?

NARA offers case management, counseling, peer-mentoring, and support groups, through partnerships with Davidson County's correctional institutions, drug courts, and transitional houses.

NARA's services provide community connection with social supports essential to sustaining recovery and preventing relapse. With the help of our agency, people seeking recovery, especially disenfranchised populations, have greater access to a greater number of support services and in turn have a greater opportunity for positive change.

Our goal is to remove barriers to recovery and help people who get clean and sober to stay that way.
