Professional Training The Professional Training Program of the Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee provides professional, comprehensive, customized training for alcohol and drug prevention, intervention, and treatment professionals from 26 Middle Tennessee counties.

The program is designed for those who directly treat alcohol and drug addiction and those who serve the broad needs of individuals or families who are affected by addiction.
All workshops are accepted by Tennessee Health Related Boards to fulfill requirements for Licensure of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (LADAC) or for continuing education of such. Basic Courses
Both are excellent educational preparation for anyone who is just beginning to work in a care-giving profession or whose formal education lacks the alcohol and drug component. Advanced Topics
Pre-registration with payment is required. All workshops are 6 hours unless noted. 8:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Professional Training Program is funded in part by the Tennessee State Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services.
